The Cursed Necklace

Browsing the old jewelry in the antique store she saw an old gold necklace that she absolutely wanted.  The old lady at the register told her an important bit of information; do not the wear the necklace.  The wishy washy story of how it was forged in the cursed cauldron of a witch, who placed a curse on the necklace to curse the wearer and a magic curse would curse the cursed wearer..... blah, blah,blah.  Shut up and take my money!  She didn't listen to every last detail, but she understood the most important thing, she was going to have the most beautiful necklace at the party.

The moral of this tale, when an old person tells you about the curse on an object you're going to buy; always take heed to that advice.
