Recon Scout: Keyla Barrick

Keyla Barrick is an interesting story to the United Territories.  She wandered into a UT forward operating base and refused to leave, until she was given asylum in the UT.  Her determination and grit impressed the base commander and he gave her a basic placement test.  The results were astonishing.  Given her results she was given her enlistment papers into the United Territories Armed Forces.  Her enlistment form states she's from the Cicada Colony, but this cannot be confirmed as the colony was wiped out some time ago.  Keyla's knowledge in general mechanics and technical proficiency is in the upper echelon of all grades.  It's like she was raised with the caravan trains that scavenge the junk of the wastes.

It wasn't until quite some time later that it was discovered she is the twin sister to none other that Desta Scofield.  Naturally, the rules called for expulsion from the armed forces, but both girls were far too valuable to lose.
